We believe in the Biblical principle of tithes and offerings. Generosity sits at the heart of God and those who trust in Jesus Christ.

When you give through tithes and offerings to Melbourne Inclusive Church, you are not just making a donation you are making a significant impact on someone’s life. Your generosity helps bring the inclusive love of Jesus Christ to people here in Australia and around the world.

The Bible tells us to “Bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in My house, and try Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “If I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you such blessing that there will not be room enough to receive it.” – Malachi 3:10

We have a Square machine available at our in-person service and we also accept cash.

The Power of Generosity

It is a privilege for us to be generous in giving back to God because Jesus first gave His all for us. We believe giving is an act of worship incorporating our whole life, including our finances.

We believe we are also called to give sacrificially above and beyond our tithe to expand what God is doing locally, nationally and internationally through His church.

“But store up for yourselves treasures in Heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” – Matthew 6:20-21

By giving above and beyond, you are helping to create more opportunities for people to experience the inclusive love of Jesus and leaving a lasting legacy for generations to come.

Principles of Accountability

The giving we receive is used for the work of God’s kingdom in line with our church’s vision and mission.

We apply good governance principles in our operations and are continually vigilant over our financial processes and accountability to our members and governing authorities. Every year, our members have the opportunity to vote on our budget.

As a church, we tithe a portion of what we receive to organisations that help LGBTIQA+ youth in need of support.

Melbourne Inclusive Church is a registered charity with the Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission (ACNC), however not currently registered as a deductible gift recipient (DGR).
