God told Abraham “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing”. Fast forward to the book of Leviticus where God explains how the people of God would become a great nation. In Leviticus, we find a series of Laws designed to help the Israelites live in a way that glorifies God and set them apart from the other nations and religions of the time. Though some of these laws have been interpreted to condemn same-sex relationships, Pastor Becky takes us through a brief history of the culture at the time and explains how these laws were actually about worshipping false idols.
